Do you provide PS1 documentation for building consent?
Yes. We prepare detailed structural and civil drawings, calculations and Producer Statements (PS1) so your building consent application is complete and consent-ready.
Which areas of New Zealand do you cover?
We are based in Botany, Auckland and provide structural and civil engineering services for residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout New Zealand.
Do I need a structural engineer for a deck or retaining wall?
Often, yes. A retaining wall needs engineering design and building consent once it retains more than 1.5 metres of ground, or at any height if it carries a surcharge such as a driveway, building or sloping ground above it. Decks generally need engineering once they are more than 1.5 metres off the ground, or where they are cantilevered. Absolutely. We regularly collaborate with architects, designers and builders, providing the structural and civil engineering to bring their plans to life and through consent.
